CBS releases the college football schedule

WFMY will broadcast college football games for 23 straight weeks in the fall.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — For 23 straight weeks, you can watch college football games on WFMY News 2.

The schedule includes a total of 23 games and begins with a doubleheader on Saturday, August 31, when Ohio State hosts Akron and then UCLA visits Hawaii. Next week at 3:30 p.m. ET, Iowa State-Iowa will take part in the annual Cy-Hawk rivalry game, first played in 1894, from Kinnick Stadium.

2024 marks the first full season of CBS Sports, featuring Big Ten games every Saturday in the station’s traditional 3:30 p.m. ET window. For the first time, the Big Ten season will conclude on CBS with the 2024 Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday, December 7 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Post-Thanksgiving doubleheader on Friday, November 29
The 91st edition of the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl will take place on Tuesday, December 31.
