Apricus Generation acquires controlling interest in Nexus Renewables to strengthen its renewable energy portfolio

Apricus Generation, a Florida-based energy company, announced it has acquired a controlling interest in Nexus Renewables, Canada’s leading solar and storage developer and independent power producer (IPP). This marks the first strategic acquisition of Apricus Generation since its launch earlier this year. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition aims to leverage Nexus Renewables’ established IPP platform and market presence, providing the necessary support and capital to enhance its operations. The collaboration is expected to significantly expand Nexus Renewables’ project portfolio, which currently exceeds 500 MW.
