At the Council meeting in Brussels, EU trade ministers discussed how trade regulations such as the Deforestation-Free Supply Chains Act and CBAM can be implemented with minimal harm to developing countries.

EU trade ministers gathered in Brussels on Thursday to discuss the future of EU trade policy and trade relations with Africa. According to the Vice-President of the Commission Valdis DombrovskisIn both agenda items, ministers addressed issues arising from the EU’s autonomous trade measures for its trading partners.
