ADT is expanding through strategic acquisitions of AAG and ACG

COMPANY NEWS: ADT Security Group Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Intelligent Monitoring Group Limited (IMG), has announced the strategic acquisition of Alarm Assets Group (AAG) and ACG Integration Pty Ltd (ACG).

The newly acquired businesses will be led by Geoff Campbell-Brown, CEO of ADT Security Australia, which will enable the addition of over 35 skilled technicians to ADT’s workforce, significantly increasing its nationwide footprint and service delivery to major clients and government agencies.

Dennison Hambling, managing director of IMG, commented:

“Having grown ADT’s commercial business from A$2 million in revenue in the year prior to IMG’s acquisition of ADT to an operating rate of A$12 million per annum by the end of June 2024, expanding ADT’s business through the strategic acquisition of two high-quality businesses will continue to grow ADT’s presence on a highly promising market. The addition of these companies, customers and individuals will further unlock ADT’s commercial business as it strives to return to historic revenue levels of A$125 million and above.”

Geoff Campbell-Brown, CEO of ADT Security, commented:

“ADT is excited to integrate AAG and ACG into the ADT family. These acquisitions provide expertise and a strong customer base that will enhance our service offering and support our growth ambitions. We will focus on seamless integration, maintaining high service standards and leveraging our combined strengths to drive innovation and operational excellence. This expansion will strengthen our market position and provide new opportunities for our team members.”

Completion of each acquisition is subject to IMG receiving formal approval from the financing entities and meeting other customary conditions. IMG intends to complete the acquisitions by June 30, 2024.
