Man dies in single-vehicle crash in Muscle Shoals

A man was killed in a fatal crash in Muscle Shoals early Thursday morning, according to the Muscle Shoals Police Department.

Authorities say the single-vehicle crash occurred around 6:40 a.m. at 3400 East 6th Street.

The victim was identified as William Autry Dale Jr. Police say Dale’s Nissan Maxima was traveling west on 6th Street when it left the roadway and struck an embankment. Dale was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Muscle Shoals Police Department says it sends its condolences to Dale’s family.
