Lava Yuva 5G launched in India. Specifications, colors, more

On Thursday (May 30), homegrown mobile phone manufacturer Lava launched its latest Yuva 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The smartphone has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Powered by the Unisoc T750 chipset, the Lava Yuva 5G comes with 4GB RAM and offers 64GB or 128GB storage options, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.

Lava Yuva 5G is available in two configurations: 4GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at Rs 9,499 and 4GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at Rs 9,999. The device will be available from June 5 on Amazon India online store, Lava online store and Lava retail outlets.

Lava Yuva 5G is available in blue and green. Sales of the Lava Yuva 5G smartphone in India will start on June 5 at 12:00.

The back of the Lava Yuva 5G houses a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro camera, while the front has an 8MP camera housed in a notch. According to the domestic phone maker, the device running the Android 13 operating system is expected to receive the Android 14 update later this year. It is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18 W charging and includes a side fingerprint scanner.

A long-lasting 5,000mAh battery and a 6.5-inch HD+ punch-hole display at 90Hz ensure an excellent user experience,” Sumit Singh, CEO, said in a statement product at Lava.

The phone manages biometric data using a fingerprint reader located on the side, and also supports face unlocking. The device is equipped with UFS 2.2 memory for faster access to data. Lava provides a 1-year warranty on the phone and a 6-month warranty on accessories.

To improve customer service and after-sales service, the national mobile phone manufacturer is providing the ‘Free Home Service’ option. During the warranty period, customers can benefit from a technician visit to check any service requirements.
