GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – Gunnison County is taking steps to address road maintenance and short-term rental regulations, with plans expected to be finalized by the end of 2024.

The district’s strategic plan, updated every two years, outlines these goals alongside other key goals.

Recently added information includes a transportation master plan and zoning code updates for affordable housing. Efforts are underway to develop land use policies and manage growth and address security concerns. Officials say these initiatives are critical to shaping the county’s future development and infrastructure.
