NARBONNE, France (AP) — An international arrest warrant has been issued for former Australia captain Rocky Elsom after a French court found him guilty of misuse of corporate assets while he was club president. French rugby from Narbonne.

According to French media, the former Wallabies flanker was sentenced in absentia on Friday to five years in prison after also being found guilty of forgery and ordered to repay 700,000 euros in squandered assets ($766,000) to the club from 2015 to 2016.

Elsom, 41, played 75 times for Australia between 2005 and 2011 and represented Irish club Leinster, winning the 2009 European Cup.

He works as a coach at a school in Dublin, according to a recent interview with The Sunday Times newspaper. ___
