The Russian army is most active in the Pokrovsky, Kurakhiv and Siversky sectors

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an update of the situation on June 1 at 1 p.m., Ukrinform reports.

Since the beginning of the day, most Russian attacks were concentrated in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhov sectors. In addition, there was an increase in enemy activity in the Siversk sector.

Russians fire artillery on the border of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts. Stara Mykolaivka, Studenok and Stara Huta were shelled from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Russian invaders continue to hit the Kharkov region with guided air bombs from their territory. The enemy attacked Vovchansk with one guided air bomb and Lipcy with three guided air bombs.

In the Kupiańsko area, Russian troops attacked Borowa with two guided air bombs.

On the Lyman section, Russian invaders are trying to improve the situation in the area of ​​Torske and Terna. The enemy hit Lyman with two guided air bombs, fired another guided air bomb on Szczurowe and two more on Radkiwski Piski. Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks in this sector.

The Russian army increased its attacks in the Siversk sector. Six combat clashes are taking place in the Ivano-Daryivka and Rozdolivka region. One enemy attack was repelled near Vyiimki.

The invaders tried to attack twice in the Kramatorski sector, near Nowy and Kliszczejówka. Both attempts ended in failure. Defense Force units are controlling the situation.

The greatest intensity of enemy attacks is observed in the Pokrovsk sector. The total number of combat engagements since the beginning of the day increased to 14. Ukrainian troops repelled six attacks near Zelene Pole, Novooleksandrivka, Novoselivka Persha and Nevelske. Eight more are underway in the Yevhenivka, Sokół and Yasnobrodivka regions. The situation is under control.

Fighting continues in the Kurakhove sector. Since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled 10 enemy attacks near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, Paraskoviivka and Vodiane. Two more combat engagements continue near Kostiantynivka and Vodiane.

Russian troops, supported by aircraft, carry out attacks in the Vremivka area. The Russians used 10 unguided air missiles in the Staromyorski area. Combat clashes are still ongoing there.

Additionally, the enemy launched 16 attacks using unguided air missiles on Pyatikhatky in the Orikh sector.

In other sectors, the situation has not changed significantly.
