Meditab Software introduces IMS v14.0 SPI and CarePortal

OAKLAND, CA–(Marketwired – July 15, 2014) – Meditab Software, developer of intelligent health software (IMS), is pleased to announce the release of IMS v14.0 SPI, certified for Stage 2 of the Meaningful Use Program. This new version of IMS is MU2 ONCHIT 2014 certified and can be used by authorized professionals to obtain Meaning Use (MU) approval.

IMS v14.0 SPI includes the following updates and new features:

  • Support for HL7 2.5.1

  • Various bug fixes

Earlier this year, Meditab received certification for 2014 by participating in ICSA Labs’ ONC Health IT Certification (ONCHIT) certification program, undergoing thorough and rigorous testing by ICSA Labs against ONC-approved testing procedures. IMS was found to be compliant with the Clinical, Interoperability, Security, Privacy, Significant Stage 1 and Significant Stage 2 measures of the 2014 edition.
