The CDA CEO visits various sectors and manages the completion of C-14 in 90 days

CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited Sectors C-14, C-15, C-16 and I-12, instructing that all infrastructure works in Sector C-14 will be completed within 90 days

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 1st Jun, 2024) CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited sectors C-14, C-15, C-16 and I-12, advising that all infrastructure work in Sector C-14 will be completed within 90 days.

The chairman was accompanied by senior officers from the CDA engineering wing.

The CDA chairman instructed that all infrastructure works, including culverts, drains, roads and streets, would be completed in Sector C-14 in the next three months.

He highlighted the unique and picturesque location of Sector C-14 with easy access to the Margalla Hills. He emphasized the quick completion of development works so that plot owners could build houses on their plots.

He directed the engineering wing to provide electricity to sector C-14 by immediately contacting IESCO along with development work. He then directed that all development work should be approved by a third party.

The Chairman also visited Sector C-16 and learned that work had started in two sub-sectors but was suspended for five months due to various reasons.

He directed immediate resumption of development works in the sector and directed that all development works, including roads, water supply, sewerage and culverts, should be completed within two months on the C-16 section.

At the same time, efforts should be made to provide electricity and external validation of all development projects should be carried out.

As per Randhawa’s instructions, development work in Sector C-16 has resumed after a gap of five months. The contractor started work and machines were put into operation on site.

The CDA chairman also visited sector C-15. He expressed his dissatisfaction over the slow pace of work and directed the contractor and concerned officers to increase the pace of work. He ordered an immediate increase in machinery and manpower in the sector.

He directed that a plan to solve other problems, including obstacles to the development of the sector, be presented within a week. He directed that the development work on the C-15 section should be completed within five months.

Chairman CDA along with Inspector General Islamabad visited Sector I-12. He ordered work to begin on removing garbage from the landfill on the I-12 section. He also visited other construction works in the industry and praised the efforts of the engineering wing on the speed of work.

He directed to take action against illegal encroachments from sector I-12 and clear all encroachments from the sector within a week.

On the orders of CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, work has been started to clear garbage from the landfill in Sector I-12 so that I-12 Markaz can be fully developed.
