Psychic medium discovers skeletal remains behind indoor bowling alley in Jay

JAY (WGME) — A psychic medium recently discovered the skeletal remains of a body behind a now-closed bowling alley in Jay.

Laurencia Bourget has been working with Kimberly Moreau’s family for years. Moreau was 17 when she disappeared from Jay in 1986.

Since then, his family and police, as well as his father Richard, have searched for any sign of him and have posted flyers all over Western Maine.

Bourget says he has worked on missing persons cases around the world, including Maine and New Hampshire, but the Moreau case was the first he began investigating as an intermediary 20 years ago.

He says he first heard a voice mentioning the bowling alley in 2021, then heard it again recently and knew it was important.

“It was very obvious, a couple of weeks ago I heard it for the second time and I knew it was a message, so I contacted Richard to arrange a search then and that was last weekend and then we found the body,” Bourget said. .

Bourget says he was the one who found the body after only a few minutes of searching.

It wasn’t Kimberly Moreau’s body. In fact, authorities believe it is a male skeleton.

These remains are currently awaiting identification at the State Forensic Medicine Institute.
