The cinema has issued a major warning to anyone who sees Terrifier 3, which might make you think again

Terrifying 3 has been the talk of the town since its worldwide release on Friday (October 11), but if you haven’t heard how terrifying it is, a few theaters are giving patrons a last-minute reminder.

Those who have yet to see it have already been advised to bring a change of pants and a vomit bag, as well as prepare for the possibility of passing out or needing an ambulance afterwards having watched the bloody trio.

If you still think your stomach is strong enough to survive this two-hour slasher flick, take a look at how these folks fared by watching Terrifying 3 at the UK gala premiere:

While their reactions might be hilarious in hindsight, the atmosphere in the room wasn’t fun at all – and nine people ended up walking out because they just couldn’t hack it.

All under-18s in France are now banned outright from seeing the slasher film, revolving around the character Art the Clown, in a decision that has not been enforced since. Saw 3 was released in 2006.

Seems like there’s sort of a recurring theme in horror movie franchises that takes the horror to a whole new level in the third installment, huh?

Regardless, Art the Clown’s chilling return from the dead to confront Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera) and her brother Jonathan (Elliott Fullam) once again lives up to the film’s title, according to the fans.

A viewer who said she was ‘fighting for her life’ while watching Terrifying 3 even claimed that his Apple Watch buzzed throughout the film, warning him that his heart rate was skyrocketing.

But if you need another boost to save yourself a week of nightmares, your local cinema might do you a solid like the UK’s and post a sobering warning on the entry doors.

If you need a last minute excuse not to watch Terrifying 3, that might do the trick.

@TerrifierFilm, a long-time fan of the slasher franchise, shared updates on the film – rated 18 by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) – on Twitter.

On Friday, they shared a snapshot of a “customer review” posted at a cinema in the UK, explaining that people weren’t kidding when they said Art’s third act gave them a visceral reaction.

It reads: “Due to the nature of this film, we would like to advise customers that if they begin to feel uncomfortable or dizzy during the screening of Terrifying 3please come and speak to a member of staff.

“We can find you a seat and a cup of water.”

It’s not clear exactly which cinema the poster was shown in, or why they think a cup of water would cure pure terror, but he went on to reiterate some assessments published by the BBFC about the poster’s contents. Terrifying 3.

The violence it contains received a rating of 5/5, with the British film watchdog explaining that it features bloody scenes where actors are brutalized while they are still alive, adding that these scenes are “bloody and detailed”.

For menace and horror it was rated 4/5, with the BBFC noting that there are “sustained scenes of supernatural horror”, while Terrifying 3 received the same rating for its use of strong language.

The BBFC goes on to warn that there is also “a strong sex scene” as well as a scene which depicts masturbation, again with “gory detail”, seeing the body giving it a 4/5 for sex .

And finally, the injury details received a rating of 5/5, warning that extremely gruesome acts were committed.

Social media users responded to the Twitter post saying they had seen similar warning signs at their local cinemas.

One of them said, “See, you’re forcing me to watch this!”

Another wrote: “Best cinema experience this year, y’all are crazy. After watching I feel like I ate Absinthe. What a buzz.”

A third added: “This is priceless publicity. The last movie with these kinds of stats I saw at least 10 years ago hasn’t left my memory. Which is why I now have to see this movie.”

So… if anyone wants to catch Terrifying 3 later, guys?
