Mount Royal-based flood mitigation leader expands with 2 acquisitions

Mount Royal-based Floodproofing.com announced it has made two recent acquisitions: installation-focused National Flood Protection LLC, based in Norwich, Conn.; and flood barrier manufacturer Flood Panel, based in Jupiter, Florida.

These acquisitions strengthen Floodproofing.com’s position as an international source of information on all things flood-related, offering a comprehensive approach to flood mitigation.

According to Tom Little, CEO and president of Floodproofing.com, fully integrating the company’s installation expertise in time-proven and performance-rated National Flood Protection and Flood Panel products into the company’s portfolio allows it to better serve at-risk areas with a true, comprehensive waterproofing solution floods.

The company now produces and sells both wet and dry flood protection products, and also provides consulting, design, engineering, installation, post-installation support and even flood insurance. Additionally, Floodproofing.com offers professional and continuing education loans to a variety of design and construction industry professionals. It also provides both the National Flood Insurance Program and private flood insurance options with the lowest possible premiums for home and business owners.

Additionally, National Flood Protection was the exclusive reseller of Flood Panel. Russ Ellington, former president and owner of National Flood Protection, will serve as senior vice president of program management for Floodproofing.com.
