Correll will carry out fault diagnosis at Ørsted wind farms

CERGY, France – Ørsted has awarded Correll Group subsidiary SPIE framework contracts for fault finding, diagnostics and dry repairs for the group’s wind farms in the UK, US and Taiwan.

The awards include export and fault detection for high voltage (HV) and optical fiber (FO) equipment, diagnostics and dry repairs.

Correll will be responsible for determining the fault location, failure mode, diagnostics and (if necessary) implementing repairs to the HV/FO system on land or in a “dry spot” offshore.
