56-year-old woman reported missing in Austin found safe

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department says a woman found at Silver Alert headquarters on Wednesday has been found safe.

APD said the 56-year-old, who was diagnosed with cognitive impairment, went missing Wednesday afternoon.

In an update Thursday morning, police said the woman was found safe.
