The panel concluded that Brathwaite sometimes allowed his name to be recorded with an additional letter on certain documents to serve as a pseudonym.

While applying for a job at the school, Brathwaite checked a box indicating that he had been convicted of one or more criminal offenses and indicated that he had been convicted twice in 2006 and once in 2009.

When asked about this, he then wrote that the first conviction was from 2006, while the second was from 2007 and the third from 2009, and the committee found that he had “completely omitted” the conviction for possession of criminal property on their application form. .

He also said he was misleading in his description of his assault conviction because Brathwaite had said he “fought…with someone who hit my car”, but the panel concluded that the victim was, “on the balance of probabilities”, a police officer.
