ChargePoint Announces Executive and Board Appointments to Strengthen Software-Based Electric Vehicle Charging Expertise

CAMPBELL, California, July 11, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ChargePoint (NYSE: CHPT), a leading provider of network charging solutions for electric vehicles (EVs), today announced the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer, Chief Software Development Officer and a new member of its Board of Directors (the “Board”). All three individuals join ChargePoint with the skills, passion and experience to continue accelerating ChargePoint’s leadership in the electrification of transportation.

Mansi Khetani has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, effective July 9, 2024. Ms. Khetani has been with ChargePoint since 2018. She previously led the financial planning and analysis efforts before becoming interim CFO in November 2023. She has extensive experience in financial planning, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and investment banking. Ms. Khetani previously held executive leadership positions at Gainsight and Rocket Fuel, and investment banking leadership positions at Piper Jaffray and Merrill Lynch. Mansi holds an MBA and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ash Chowdappa has joined ChargePoint as Chief Development Officer for Software, where he will lead the software team across all regions, products, and segments. Mr. Chowdappa is a seasoned technology veteran with nearly 25 years of leadership in customer-facing and field-facing businesses. He has a proven track record of driving product strategy from inception to launch. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Software for HPE Aruba Networks across the Cloud, Security, and Networking Infrastructure portfolio, where he led R&D. His leadership experience combined with deep technical expertise make him the ideal executive to lead ChargePoint’s software organization.

Mitesh Dhruv has joined ChargePoint’s Board of Directors and will serve on the Audit Committee. Mr. Dhruv has nearly 25 years of accounting and finance experience, including a career on Wall Street as an equity analyst. Previously, Mr. Dhruv served as the Audit Committee Chair for ZoomInfo Technologies Inc. and as the CFO for RingCentral, Inc., a provider of cloud-based communications and collaboration solutions. Highly respected in the software community, he has been named an All-America Best Software CFO by Institutional Investor for three consecutive years. He is a CPA, CPA, and holds a B.A. in accounting.
