Pinterest Expands Shopify Inclusion Fund to Small Businesses. Pinterest’s Inclusion Fund and Shopify’s Build Black and Build Native initiatives have joined forces to support small businesses, independent publishers, and boutique creative agencies from historically marginalized communities.

Amazon Expands Drone Deliveries After Getting FAA Approval. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has granted Amazon Prime Air additional authority to operate its beyond-line-of-sight drones, allowing it to serve more customers via drones and scale its delivery operations. Later this year, drone deliveries will begin to integrate with Amazon’s delivery network, meaning drones will be deployed from facilities next to same-day delivery locations.

Walmart is expanding its InHome delivery service. Walmart is expanding its InHome delivery service to an additional 10 million U.S. households, including California. Customers in San Bernardino, Riverside and Ontario can now access the convenience of delivery. Additionally, Walmart is expanding the service to include customers in Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis and Philadelphia, bringing InHome’s total scale to more than 50 markets spanning more than 45 million homes.

Klaviyo launches integration with TikTok to increase advertising effectiveness. Klaviyo announced integration with TikTok, allowing businesses to sync Klaviyo lists and segments with their TikTok audiences. This feature enables brands to increase return on ad spend, deliver personalized ads, and build influential lookalike audiences to attract new buyers.

Razorpay POS introduces Q-Zap for queue-free shopping in stores. Razorpay, the Indian payment platform, has introduced Q-Zap, an all-in-one suite designed to revolutionize in-store payments with Razorpay POS. Q-Zap offers mobile card acceptance and a unified payment interface anywhere in stores, kiosks and vending machines, enabling self-service transactions, plug-and-play integration with over 80 billing partners, and custom back-end integrations and front-end applications .

PayPal will build an advertising platform and accelerate consumer product innovation. PayPal has announced executive appointments to build an advertising platform that will help merchants sell more products and services. According to PayPal, the new advertising division will use customer information to build a personalized platform that will provide sellers with better performance while presenting attractive offers to customers.

The new Rakuten+ connects brands with high-value buyers. Rakuten, the Tokyo-based cashback shopping platform, has announced Rakuten+, a membership program for designer brands that allows you to connect with engaged Rakuten members. Rakuten+ will offer brands access to the most loyal and active customers buying branded fashion. These select buyers will earn at least 10% cash back from participating brands and retailers year-round, providing designer brands with the opportunity to grow their audience.

Scurri acquires conversational AI platform HelloDone. Supply management platform Scurri has announced the acquisition of HelloDone, a UK-based conversational AI platform for retailers and brands. The HelloDone platform responds to customer post-purchase inquiries on channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger. This enables retailers to automate responses via AI-powered chat for instant solutions at scale.

Baidu introduces tools to its mobile ecosystem. Chinese internet search giant Baidu has announced advances in its mobile products, including Search, Wenk and the Baidu app – all integrated with large language models and Ernie agents. The revamped Wenku, an integrated document archiving, content creation and sharing platform, provides over 100 multimodal AI capabilities.

Logie introduces AI tools for brand impact campaigns. Logie, the AI-powered influencer brand partnerships platform, announced partnership tools for Amazon Prime Day. According to Logie, the intelligent platform uses artificial intelligence to identify the most suitable influencers for each brand. This allows brands to work with creators who have the right audience, brand affinity and content style to run effective campaigns. Logie also gives creators access to brand collaborations in their niche.

Shopware and ChannelEngine launch Shopware Multichannel Connect. Shopware, an open-source e-commerce platform, and ChannelEngine, a marketplace integration and management platform, have launched Shopware Multichannel Connect, enabling Shopware sellers to sell on online marketplaces. Shopware Multichannel Connect automates sales on over 950 marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, Zalando, Bol, Otto and eBay). The integration simplifies the management of product information, inventory, orders and pricing from a central location.
