IDF Raids Explosives Laboratory, Arrests Terrorism Suspects in West Bank – Israel News

On Monday, soldiers from the 94th Brigade, Duvdevan Unit, 41st Brigade and Shin Bet forces completed an 18-hour counterterrorism operation in the Far’a area of ​​the West Bank’s Jordan Valley, the IDF announced on Tuesday.

During the operation, soldiers discovered and destroyed an explosives laboratory used to produce explosive devices.

More than 80 devices and additional barrels of explosives were found. Additionally, the armed forces seized additional weapons from a suspicious vehicle encountered during the operation.

The militants engaged in an exchange of fire with the terrorists, resulting in the death of one terrorist and several others with confirmed hits. Additionally, Unit 636 forces used a drone to attack two armed terrorists who posed a threat to soldiers in the area.

Suspects of terrorism were detained

As part of the operation, the fighters detained eight wanted people suspected of terrorist activities.

The detained suspects and confiscated weapons were handed over to security forces for further processing. No injuries were reported among Israeli forces.
