E-commerce Park of Sweden launches a new incubator program

E-commerce Park of Sweden, an incubator based in Helsingborg, is launching a parallel program to its existing incubator. With the new program, it will help companies with business models focused on sustainability in their e-commerce efforts.

E-commerce Park of Sweden is an incubator that helps Swedish companies with online strategies and financing of e-commerce activities. According to the company, more than 100 companies participated in the program. Several of them managed to increase their turnover to over EUR 8.9 million (SEK 100 million).

“The transition to sustainable e-commerce is too slow”

“The transition towards more sustainable and circular e-commerce is too slow. There is a clear need for significant investment to accelerate the transition. Thanks to the position we occupy, we see it as part of our responsibility to act,” says Karsten Deppert, co-founder of E-commerce Park and responsible for incubator programs.

10 companies will be accepted

A maximum of 10 companies with a business model based on sustainable development can now apply to the new program. It will start in September. Its aim is to provide entrepreneurs with knowledge in the field of e-commerce. Participants will also gain access to a network of other online entrepreneurs. Additionally, it will give them the opportunity to meet investors.

A combination of expertise

“By combining our expertise in e-commerce development with leading knowledge in sustainability, we are creating fertile ground for future business models. Our goal is to support companies that want to run and develop companies based on responsible and sustainable business models,” adds Karsten Deppert.

“The program is a catalyst shaping the future of trade”

“This program is a catalyst for shaping the future of trade. By collaborating with leading experts, we provide our participants with the resources they need to redefine the retail landscape.”
