Here are all devices compatible with iOS 18

Apple’s WWDC 2024 conference was full of announcements about iOS 18, the upcoming version of the iPhone operating system that introduces many new features.

Highlights include a set of customization options, such as the ability to arrange apps and widgets on the home screen and customize buttons. Other features include new text effects, the ability to lock and hide apps, new ways to manage your email inbox, the introduction of iMessages via satellite, a significant redesign of the Photos app, and more.

Which devices support iOS 18?

You may be wondering if your iPhone supports the new update. The company says iOS 18 can be downloaded on the following models:

When will iOS 18 be available for download?

The major version will be available this fall as a free software update. However, if you want to try iOS 18 a little earlier, the public beta will be available for download next month at beta.apple.com.

Please also note that some features may not be available in certain countries, languages or devices. For example, Safari’s “Highlights” feature, which automatically detects relevant information, will only be available in English in the US. Meanwhile, the new Live Audio Transcription feature in the Notes app is available on iPhone 12 and later in English in Australia. Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK and USA

Which devices support Apple Intelligence?

Apple Intelligence is the company’s new generative artificial intelligence offering that will be integrated into most Apple apps. It allows your iPhone to take specific actions, such as helping you compose emails and replying to text messages with Smart Replies.

You’ll get the most out of Apple Intelligence features on iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max because they’re equipped with the A17 Pro chip. It will also be available on iPad and Mac devices running M1 and later.

Apple Intelligence will be available in beta this fall.
