Apple’s WWDC 2024 conference was full of announcements about iOS 18, the upcoming version of the iPhone operating system that introduces many new features.

When will iOS 18 be available for download?

The major version will be available this fall as a free software update. However, if you want to try iOS 18 a little earlier, the public beta will be available for download next month at beta.apple.com.

Apple Intelligence is the company’s new generative artificial intelligence offering that will be integrated into most Apple apps. It allows your iPhone to take specific actions, such as helping you compose emails and replying to text messages with Smart Replies.
