iOS 18 has finally been announced, and with this quick trick, you can remove app labels from your iPhone’s home screen for the first time ever.

The latest iOS update, which will be available for all top iPhones later this year, includes some fantastic new home screen customization options, including one user-requested setting: the ability to remove text from under app icons.

No more ugly text on your home screen

Beta software, also called preview, seed, or release candidate, is a version of software that is still in development and has not yet been released to the public. This software is intended only for installation on development devices registered with an Apple Developer Program membership. Registered development devices can be upgraded to future beta and public software releases. Attempting to install beta software in an unauthorized manner violates Apple’s policies and may render your device unusable and require out-of-warranty service. Before installing beta software, back up your devices and only install on devices and systems that you can remove if necessary.
