Clean energy research creates a purpose-driven workplace

Clean energy research is on a mission to support the renewable energy transition with the cloud and software solutions it needs to achieve its vision of a planet powered by clean energy sources.

The company also focuses on the future on its team, and CPR leaders strive to help employees build the future they imagine.

“CPR’s culture is a hallmark of authenticity, trust and work-life balance that fosters individual growth and collective success,” said senior human resources manager Leslie Moreau-Carlson. “Our values, culture and policies are aligned with our mission to support the energy transition with reliable, flexible and efficient solutions.”

This core mission serves as a guiding light for activities throughout the organization, from recruiting practices to executive decision-making processes. Even CPR’s self-financed approach emphasizes the company’s commitment to stability and independence – for the company, for the future of energy and for every employee.

Management also champions transparency, ensuring that every team member is up to date on the company’s strategy and direction. The weekly Pulse newsletter not only outlines broader strategic goals, but also highlights the company’s day-to-day activities, particularly related to sales, transactions and business development. Aligning the team to the details also unifies activities around the mission, demonstrating the connection between individual tasks and the work and development of CPR.

According to Moreau-Carlson, CPR also maintains a clear vision for personal and professional development through structured career paths, individual goals and robust feedback mechanisms that aid development and support accountability and ownership. By investing in the growth and development of its team members, CPR empowers them to have greater impact in their roles and contribute to the company’s mission.

“Our company is a rare gem – a place where people thrive, make meaningful contributions and lead sustainable lives,” Moreau-Carlson said. This nurturing environment plays a key role in attracting and retaining top talent, driving innovation and ensuring long-term success.
