Apple faces ongoing EU antitrust scrutiny amid criticism of business practices

Apple remains under scrutiny by the EU’s antitrust watchdog over alleged failure to comply with technology rules, EU antitrust chief Margrethe Vestager said on Thursday.

“What I can tell you right now is that we have not seen any change in Apple’s behavior regarding our initial findings,” Vestager told a news conference.

On the other hand, Vestager praised Microsoft’s recent agreement with cloud computing services provider CISPE to resolve an antitrust issue, calling it a “promising result.”
