Barack Obama lashed out at Donald Trump at his first joint rally with Kamala Harris.

“He’s acting so crazy, and it’s become so pervasive that people don’t take it seriously anymore,” the former president told Georgia voters.

“I’m here to explain to you; just because he’s acting stupid doesn’t mean his presidency won’t be dangerous.”

Obama stated that voters do not have to take his word for it, and pointed out the comments of former Trump administration officials who “absolutely say he should not be president again.”

He singled out comments by John Kelly, Mr. Trump’s former chief of staff, who claimed the former president wanted his generals to be like Hitler’s generals.

“The best rule in politics is: Don’t say you want to do something like Hitler. That’s just good political advice,” Obama said.

“But it’s useful because it gives us a window into how Donald Trump thinks. And John Kelly isn’t the only one saying that.”

He said two former secretaries of defense and a former chief of staff in the Trump administration “were dangerous” and that “these are serious people.”

“They are not ‘woke liberals,'” Obama said. “They are people who have never talked about politics in the past because they believe the military should be above politics.

“But the reason they are speaking out is because they see in Donald Trump’s mind that the military does not exist to serve the Constitution or the American people, that he does not view being commander in chief as a solemn, sacred responsibility.

“Like everything else, he thinks the military exists to carry out his orders and serve his interests.”

Mr. Obama continued: “Unlike the first time, he won’t have people like John Kelly around to stop him. He’ll be surrounded by people who are just as crazy as he is.”

“We don’t need a wannabe king or a wannabe dictator trying to punish his enemies for four years.”
