Final weekend of the Great Halloween

Final weekend of the Great Halloween

WINDSOR, Conn. (WWLP) – Halloween is almost here and the popular spooky attraction located just over the state line in Connecticut has moved to a new location this year.

This weekend is the last weekend of the season for “Great Halloween;” featuring creepy holograms, special effects, sound effects and more. There are no live actors or scarecrows in the drive-thru.

The annual event used to be held in Suffield, but this year they moved to Windsor.

“We have had a record season and are looking forward to our final weekend. The weather looks perfect for families to enjoy all three days. This event is perfect for those who want to have a fun Halloween without the fear. We are the only attraction like this anywhere in the country, perhaps especially in the northeast,” event organizer Frank Campiti said.

The drive-thru will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30. Cost $30 per car. They are located next to Brown’s Harvest Farm at 1911 Poquonock Ave in Suffield, Connecticut.
