Early morning house fire in Milwaukee, no injuries; The Red Cross is helping

Firefighters responded to a house fire in Milwaukee early Friday morning, October 25th.

According to Milwaukee Fire crews were dispatched to the home near 33rd and State at 2:37 a.m. for a report of smoke in the attic.

Upon arrival, rescuers found a fire in the attic of the 2.5-story building.

Crews are working to extinguish the fire.

By 03:08 the fire was brought under control.

Everyone left the house before firefighters arrived. No one was hurt.

The American Red Cross was asked to help five adults.

Milwaukee police and Milwaukee To find out the cause of the fire, they contacted the fire investigation team.
