Pueblo High Receives $5,000 for Football Equipment

(PUEBLO, CO) – Pueblo West High School will receive $5,000 through the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights program for football equipment on Friday, October 25th.

In September, T-Mobile announced a $2 million grand prize for the football field technology upgrade, along with $25,000 to be awarded to 16 schools and 300 schools to receive $5,000 over the course of the competition. Pueblo West High School is one of the first of 300 schools to receive $5,000.

“We are honored to receive one of the $5,000 prizes for Friday’s $5,000 program. We plan to use these funds for playground equipment for our football games,” said Bobby Tillman, director of athletics and activities at Pueblo West High School. “This will help make Cyclone Stadium at Pueblo West High School one of the best high schools in the state.”

The check will be presented to Pueblo West High School prior to Friday’s game at Cyclone Stadium, located at 661 West Capistrano Avenue, at 6:40 p.m.
