Late-night eatery opens new location in Portage

PORTAGE, MI –– There’s a new late-night dining option on Westnedge Boulevard.

Two Fellas Grill, a Western Michigan University community favorite, opened its third location at 6160 S. Westnedge Ave. on Oct. 11.

The restaurant is next to Jersey Mike’s, which is located in the Southland Mall.

Two Fellas, known for its different varieties of grilled wraps, brings the same mouth-watering menu to its new location.

Menu highlights include the “First item on the menu,” a wrap with grilled chicken, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, tater tots, ranch and sour cream.

The “Bronco” is another fan favorite, featuring chicken tenders, bacon, mozzarella, tater tots, and barbecue sauce.

The special wrap menu includes options like the “Mac Daddy” with grilled chicken, mozzarella, macaroni and cheese bites, tater tots, sour cream and barbecue sauce.

Fresh and quick-cooked wraps range from $8 to $12.50.

Brendan Perry, the new location’s general manager, has been working at Two Fellas for six years. Perry said the decision to expand was the result of a desire to reach more of the Kalamazoo community.

“We expanded to Gull Road a few years ago and we want to continue to build a great community around Michigan for everyone who knows us,” Perry said. “If you can go out to Westnedge and be successful, then your entire company should be doing pretty well.”

For those familiar with Two Fellas, Perry said to expect more of the same hours, the same great food, and the same energy.

On weekdays, Two Fellas will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.

An exception is that from Thursday to Saturday the restaurant is open until 4 am.

“After 10 p.m., it will be us and Taco Bell,” Perry said.

The location hopes to start delivery as soon as possible and is already on DoorDash. Two Fellas is hiring for the new location and applications are open website.

The Gull Road location is at 5585 Gull Road, Suite 106, and the Western Michigan University location is at 2730 W. Michigan Ave.
