Cincinnati Bearcats Hoops Name Top Five Schools for 2024 Four-Star Forward Shon Abae

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are among the top five schools for 2025 four-star shooting guard Shon Abaev from Calvary Christian School (Florida).

On3’s Joe Tipton reports the group includes Cincinnati, Oregon, Auburn, Arizona State and Arkansas.

According to 247SportsAbaev ranks 30th best nationally and sixth among small forwards. The 6-7 talent received a total of 26 offers before cutting his roster. Abaev officially visited UC on October 2.

He told Tipton that while Wes Miller’s search for strong talent continues, there is no timeline for his commitment. Abaev’s frame is exactly what divides defenses in modern basketball. He can score goals at all levels with his remarkable athleticism. This can be further increased with his physical attributes in Monster Factory.
