Fatal pedestrian crash in Baltimore County under investigation

BALTIMORE COUNTY — A man died after being hit by a car in Baltimore County Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to Eastern Blvd. responded to a crash involving a pedestrian in the 1000 block.

Police said a 2023 KIA hit a pedestrian who was trying to cross the street.

The pedestrian, 35-year-old Edward Ryan, was taken to the hospital and later died.

The KIA driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital.

This case is currently under investigation.
