Death investigation continues after body found near vehicle in Scott County

SCOTT COUNTY, KY (LEX 18). The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation after they say a body was found near a vehicle on Lyle Road on Friday.

Officers responded to the scene to find a vehicle that had entered the roadway and “appeared to have been involved in an accident,” officials said.

When they arrived on scene, officials said they found “a body outside the vehicle.”

Officials say the scene is still active and under investigation.
