SAN FRANCISCO (CZK) — Three San Francisco residents were rescued from a fire in a two-story home near Balboa High School Friday morning, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. One of the residents suffered minor injuries.

Around 8:30 a.m., firefighters responded to 20 Balhi Court in Cayuga Terrace for a single-alarm residential fire. Engines 15 and 43 were able to quickly extinguish the fire on the second floor, according to SFFD.

Three occupants of the home were rescued by Truck 15 and Rescue 2 crews after they climbed the stairs.

One resident suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, officials said.

The DFSF said the cause of the fire was accidental and electrical.
