Eastbound I-475 near Secor reopens after a diesel spill Friday morning.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The eastbound lanes of I-475 near Secor have reopened following a diesel spill Friday morning.

According to OHGO, the accident occurred around 11:20 a.m. on Oct. 25. 13 Action News staff members who responded to the scene saw what appeared to be a broken gas tank on the semi-trailer, causing the leak.

The eastbound lanes of I-475 east of the Secor exit were closed for a time as crews worked to clean up the spill.

The lanes reopened around 2:20 p.m.
