Commanders Jayden Daniels vs. Bears Game Status Revealed

Will the Washington Commanders get Jayden Daniels back from injury for Caleb Williams vs. the Chicago Bears?

During the club’s Week 7 matchup against the Carolina Panthers, Daniels was injured on the team’s opening drive. He was sidelined with a rib injury, which also forced him to miss practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Daniels returned to training on Friday with hopes of returning to action in week eight.

“I want to play, but it’s not my decision,” Daniels said. “I feel better, but I still have time. I still have a few marks I need to get for them to feel comfortable putting me out there.”

Here’s the game status of the injured Commanders ahead of the Week 8 matchup:

Considering the volume of injury reports all week, having only three players out or questionable for the game against the Bears is a huge win for the Commanders. Fans will be closely monitoring Daniels’ playing status and how it changes Sunday morning.

A matchup between No. 1 overall Williams and No. 2 overall Daniels is still on the table and could be a great battle between two young, rising teams.

However, offensive tackle Brandon Coleman will miss the game with a concussion after not practicing all week. The team had five limited participants Friday during its final practice before the game against Chicago.
