Commitments to return to the office are far from new in 2024. Companies around the world are eliminating popular employee benefits left and right, causing intense backlash from employees and performance statistics the same.

The reason Bolt is so surprising is that the company has long been a bastion of work-from-home. In fact, Bolt was able to quickly and efficiently transition its employees to remote work during the pandemic because Bolt had adopted a hybrid model before the lockdown.
