Black Ops 6 players flock to Zombies for multiplayer after ‘amazing’ reviews

Black Opera 6 Zombies mode has received high praise from the community thanks to some much-needed changes that help make the mode feel fresher.

After four years, Black Ops 6 marks the return of the game’s Zombies mode. Round-based gameplay continues to feature up to four players teaming up to fend off hordes of the undead. However, new enemy types and quality of life changes lead to rave reviews from the Call of Duty community.

“Oh. My. God. The new zombies are great,” one player wrote on the Black Ops 6 Reddit page. “This is the version of zombies that I wanted and waited to return. We are such damn cool guys.”

One of the biggest praises was the feature that players have wanted since 2008 – pause function. During a Zombies match, players can pause the game, which is great for when you need a break.

If that wasn’t exciting enough, matches can now be saved and reloaded. “I just like being able to save and go back.” wrote one player. “The pause timer is kind of like a cheek solo, but I don’t have to pause much beyond a quick trip to the bathroom or something.”

Black Ops 6 Zombies also features a variety of new enemies to help change up the gameplay experience from the usual shambling undead. While Parasites and Amalgams are great additions to the Horde mode, it’s the new Pest creatures that really freak fans out.

These fleshy arachnid abominations may be relatively weak, but when there’s a swarm of them, you’ll quickly find yourself overwhelmed. Creepy creatures have also been known to break away from fallen zombies, giving them a grotesque appearance.

“Spider creatures scare me” wrote one commentator. “They remind me of the face huggers from the Aliens franchise! Just so creepy and disgusting lol.”
