This weekend will be dry and hot in the afternoon.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Sunny skies and dry again today with afternoon high temperatures in the 80s to near 90. Sunday skies will be mostly sunny with morning lows in the upper 50s and afternoon highs in the 80s to near 90 degrees. .

One or two scattered showers can’t be ruled out late Sunday into Monday as a weak front moves into the region, but most places will remain dry. Morning lows start around 60 Monday and Tuesday, with afternoon highs in the low to mid 80s.

Increased humidity Wednesday and Thursday will push morning lows into the lower to mid 60s. Daytime highs Wednesday and Thursday reach the mid-80s. The chance of rain in the middle to end of the upcoming work week is virtually zero. Even though it’s warm, it’s all good for Halloween!

No new tropical systems are expected to develop over the next seven days. I’m keeping an eye on the Caribbean for tropical development potential in the first week of November.
