No storms forming in Tampa Bay area: ‘A fantastic sight’

Bay Area Residents can breathe a sigh of relief as there is no active storm threat in the region.

Hurricanes Milton And Helen caused unprecedented damage to the Tampa Bay region, making landfall just two weeks apart.

As West Florida recovers from the storm, FOX 13 meteorologist Valerie Mills predicts no active storm threats in the region.

“No tropical formations or development are expected for the next seven days,” Mills said. “It’s fantastic to see.”

As the 2024 hurricane season approaches its final end at the end of November, Mills added that a “high level of preparedness remains in place for any potential surges” that could threaten the region.
