Simone Biles reveals if she and Taylor Swift are connected over NFL games

Simone Biles weighed in on whether she and Taylor Swift would hang out together at a future NFL game.

Biles, who is married to Chicago Bears quarterback Jonathan Owenstalked to Access to Hollywood On October 24 at the premiere of her Netflix documentary “The Rise of Simone Biles: Part 2.”

During the interview, she was asked if she had the opportunity to “get closer” with Swift during the NFL season. The singer supports her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in several games during the break in her “Eras Tour”.

“No, I’m on tour right now, so unfortunately, no,” Biles said, referring to the Gold Over America Tour. “I missed a lot of games. But once we finish the tour, then yes.

“But you don’t usually mess with your opponents,” she added with a smile.

The Chiefs and Bears are not scheduled to play each other in the 2024-25 regular season, although they met in the preseason. On August 22, the Bears won 34–21.

Biles’ husband previously played for the Green Bay Packers. In December 2023, Swift and Biles attended the Chiefs-Packers game in Wisconsin. cheer for their partners’ teams, but they were not photographed together.

Even though their close friends play on different NFL teams, Biles and Swift remain close.

In June, on the eve of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Swift reacted on social media to Biles’ performance on the floorwhich was set to “…Ready for this?” Responding to the video of the performance on X, Swift wrote“I’ve watched this so many times and I’m still not ready. Although she is ready for this.

“I love her,” Biles said of Swift during a July 1 interview on TODAY. “She’s so sweet.”

Swift also thanked Biles, along with Sha’Carri Richardson and Katie Ledecky. in an Olympics promotional video, calling out the three athletes by name at the end of the video.

“Katy, Sha’Curry and Simone,” Swift said. “Three American stars, three different visions of greatness tonight in Paris.”

Their camaraderie dates back to the Tokyo Olympics, when Swift narrated a video dedicated to the gymnast.

“Over the last week, her voice has been as significant as her talents. Her honesty is as beautiful as the perfection that has long been her calling card,” Swift said in the video. “But don’t you see? It still is. She’s completely human. And that is why it is so easy to call her a hero. Simone Biles is back on the beam in Tokyo.”

Biles responded to the touching video on social media: I’ll write back on social media site X: “I’m crying. so special. I love you @taylorswift13.”
