Alnwick after WBA | Everyone was cheering for the team

Jack Alnwick spoke to the media to reflect on getting a point against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.

City extended their unbeaten run to five matches with a draw at The Hawthorns, while Alnwick recorded their fourth clean sheet in five.

“This is a brilliant moment. The dry finish is another highlight to add to the collection for now. It was a near-perfect away performance. They are high in the table, although we know they are not doing very well.” They are a good team. If you came here and got a point you would take it, but we had a couple of chances at the end – if you score those chances it would be a perfect away day.

“It makes it easier for us to defend knowing that if we concede we will go and score a goal. Although we didn’t do that today, we know that we always have players at the top end of the field who We had some good chances today, but it almost takes the pressure off us defensively, knowing that, like in the games against “Plymouth and Portsmouth, we can score goals and create a lot of chances.”
