Lizzo will dress up as her weight-loss drug for Halloween

Lizzo doesn’t shy away from joking about her health journey.

For Halloween this year, the “Truth Hurts” singer shared a series of photos on Instagram dressed as a weight loss drug named Lizzo, makes fun of joke from a South Park episode earlier this year.

“LizzOzempic dump,” Lizzo captioned the post, adding a sunglasses emoji.

The first slide of the carousel shows Lizzo in full costume eating a slice of pizza while standing next to someone dressed as South Park character Eric Cartman.

In May, an episode of the popular cartoon comedy joked about the ongoing trend in weight-loss drugs. In the show, Eric is prescribed Lizzo’s drug, which they call “a brand new obesity drug for those of us who can’t afford Ozempic and Munjaro.”

The advertisement said side effects included “a smile on the face and a cheerful spirit.”

The singer smiled like a box of Lizzo, which was called a dietary suppressant and included false FDA approval. The suit also included a yellow measuring tape that wrapped around her waist.

“Okay Halloween… you can start now,” she captioned the post with a winking tongue emoji.

Lizzo told New York Times Earlier this year, she said she was on a “natural weight loss journey” which led to her becoming “methodical and losing weight very slowly.”

In September, the singer denied rumors that she took weight loss medications during treatment.
