One person injured in midday shooting near Saddle Creek

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – One person was injured in a shooting near Saddle Creek Road at noon Saturday.

Around noon, police responded to a gas station off Saddle Creek Road and found evidence of a shooting.

Officers later made contact with the shooting victim at the hospital.

The victim told police they encountered a man and a woman at the gas station. An argument ensued, as a result of which the victim was shot. The victim then drove himself to the Nebraska Medical Center for a non-life threatening injury.
