Donald Trump is showing ‘obvious mental decline,’ warns Michelle Obama

Donald Trump’s “obvious mental decline” and “history of being a convicted felon” should be reason enough for Americans not to vote for him, Michelle Obama has said.

Speaking at a rally for Kamala Harris, the former first lady said she was “angry” at the “indifference” to the Republican nominee’s behavior.

“I hope you’ll forgive me if I get a little angry about our indifference to his eccentric behavior, his obvious mental decline, his history as a convicted criminal,” she said.

“A notorious slumlord, a predator, a convicted sexual assaulter, all while we’re dealing with Kamala’s interview responses that he doesn’t even have the courage to answer.

“So, I pray that those of us who are thinking about voting for Trump or not voting at all will get out of the fog that we are in.

“In any other profession or field of endeavor, Trump’s criminal record and immoral character would be embarrassing, disgraceful and disqualifying.”

During the event in Michigan, Mrs. Obama said Democratic candidate Ms. Harris was “building a remarkable campaign in record time.”

She also discussed women’s reproductive rights, criticizing the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, clearing the way for half the country to severely restrict or outright ban abortion.

“I ask you all from the bottom of my heart to take our lives seriously,” she said.

“Please don’t put our lives in the hands of politicians, mostly men, who have no idea or care about what we women go through.

“The only people who have the right to make such decisions are women who have consulted with their doctors.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Trump took the stage about an hour and 40 minutes late at his rally in State College, Pennsylvania, as the crowd chanted “bring him here already.”

Sky News’ US affiliate network NBC News reported that when Trump adviser Stephen Miller took the stage, the rally hissed and groaned.

On Friday night in Traverse City, Michigan, Trump was so late from a three-hour interview with podcaster Joe Rogan that many people left before he arrived.
