This event has been attracting audiences for over 9 years. The most anticipated chest or treat in Caldwell is The Monster Smash.

Homes of Idaho told me they launched the beloved 2016 Trick or Treat in hopes of bringing the community together and bringing light to the Caldwell community so families and children can come to a safe place to enjoy the holiday festivities.

This event has become a tradition for many local families.

“We just want to give the community a place where they can show up and not have to worry about where to go,” said Homes of Idaho owner Colby Lampman.

Colby Lampman, owner of Homes of Idaho, tells me the crowd gets bigger every year and they are very pleased with the turnout.

“We just want to continue to offer events like this to the community and continue to grow them. We want to show the next generation of kids that they can come and enjoy our event,” Lampman said.

“Candy is really expensive, so for a lot of families this is a great opportunity to take the kids, enjoy the cool atmosphere, get some candy and have some fun,” said Caldwell resident Lindsey Swanby.

“So we moved here about three years ago and it became our little tradition,” Tiffany Kanaby said.

Tiffany told me that she and her daughter look forward to events like these because they bring everyone together.

“We also like to dress up here and support the community,” Kanaby said. This year’s crowd shows how the Caldwell community is coming together.

“It brings the city, the community together, and that’s what I’m here for,” Kanaby said.
