The week will culminate with the annual awards on 6 November, when five finalists will each receive £1 million for increasing their impact and scaling their solutions.

Earthshot Week will be hosted by actor and humanitarian Nomzamo Mbatha, who will be joined by fellow peace ambassador Robert Irwin.

Together, they will host events and dialogues that connect current and former Earthshot Prize finalists with influential environmentalists to support and accelerate their ambitious journey.

The fourth annual Earthshot Prize ceremony will be hosted by Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award winner Billy Porter and television personality Bonang Matheba.

The event will feature storytelling and musical performances celebrating global environmental innovators and showcasing creativity from across Africa.

The broadcast will feature the stories of Earthshot Prize finalists and winners, as well as special performances from renowned artists from across Africa, including Grammy-nominated Davido, world-renowned Diamond Platnumz, Tony Award nominee Lebo M, Ndlovu Youth Choir and headliner DJ Uncle Waffles . .

Supermodel and TV personality Heidi Klum, actress and activist Nina Dobrev, multi-disciplinary artist and actor Tobe Nwigwe, and supermodel and beauty entrepreneur Winnie Harlow will join the broadcast to announce five award winners in each Earthshot category that align with critical environmental goals. we must meet within this decade.

The Earthshot Prize Awards will be seen by millions of viewers in 50 African markets, supported by Global Alliance partner MultiChoice, and streamed live worldwide on YouTube.

A special green carpet pre-show hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Muzli will also be available on The Earthshot Prize YouTube channel.

Since its inception, 60 solutions have been recognized as finalists and winners, with over 2,500 submitted through a network of over 400 official nominators.

The award has secured over £75 million in support of these initiatives and aims to increase investment in new solutions.

Finalists and winners receive mentorship, resources and technical support through the year-long Earthshot Prize Fellowship program, which connects them with a robust network of influential businesses, investors and climate experts through the Global Alliance of Partners.
