There are also Gen Z teenagers Charlie, Steff, Kelly and Finn. Performed by up-and-coming talent Jay Licurgo (The bastard and the devil himself), Lewis Gribben (T2 Trainspotting) Bouquet Komur (ITV thriller Our home) and Viola Prettejohn (Crown), they not only bear the usual teenage problems – alienation, uncertainty about the future, unrequited love – but are now forced to take the ax to their elders before they too become The Walking Dead.

UK viewers can watch Generation Z online from Sunday, October 27. The entire six-episode box set will be available stream for free on the OD Channel 4 platformand linear TV viewers can watch episodes every Sunday and Monday at 21:00 GMT.

You can access Channel 4 on-demand via your desktop and a range of devices via the Channel 4 app. While a TV license is required to watch any live TV in the UK, you won’t need one to watch catch-up.
