Dil-luminati tour: Singles at Diljit Dosanjh concert in Delhi get free water bottles; “Jeevansati pe aa gay hote toh…”

Diljit Dosanjh’s first concert of his ‘Dil-luminati’ tour attracted particular attention from the Delhi Police, prompting them to issue a traffic alert as millions of fans thronged the streets. But it was the “singles” at the concert who received free water bottles from the matrimonial site who received more attention.

Bye Diljit Yesterday, fans were eagerly waiting to enter the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. Volunteers from the husband-and-wife site Jeevansathi.com were seen outside the stadium distributing bottled water to lonely patrons.

“Ko Paani Pilao Yojana Singles”

Wearing white T-shirts with the words “Singles Ko Paani Pilao Yojana” (Give the Singles Water Bottles), the volunteers lived up to their motto by distributing water bottles. The marketing move of the matrimonial site did not stop there.

Taking a look at how single people fail to find a partner, the bottles on a marriage website contained a special message. The message read, “Jeevansati pe aa gaye hot toh aaj ye bottle nahi uska haath pakda hota,” which roughly translates to “If you had joined Jeevansati, you would have held hands instead of this bottle.”

Several users quickly took to social media platform X to post pictures of the water bottles, which went viral.

Sunday’s performance will be the last of Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-luminati tour in Delhi. From here, the Punjabi singer plans to continue his tours in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh and Guwahati.

Ahead Diljit Dosanjh October 26 Concert The Enforcement Directorate conducted searches in Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Bangalore in connection with the illegal sale of tickets for both the Punjabi singer’s concert and Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres’ world tour.

Both shows saw a frenzied rush for tickets following their announcement in September, with ticket resale at exorbitant prices taking center stage. Until the date ED seized several mobile phones, laptops and SIM cards to investigate the illegal sale of concert tickets.
