ST JAMES, Jamaica – Despite a second goalless draw in a row, Montego Bay United (MBU) maintained their lead at the top of the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) following a stalemate with Portmore United at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on Sunday. .

MBU, who are unbeaten in their last five games and have never conceded a goal, have 14 points, one more than Portmore, who are tied with Waterhouse, who have played a game fewer and will play on Monday night.

Mount Pleasant FA snapped a run of three straight draws with a 1-0 win over Tivoli Gardens in the second game with a double header at Drax Hall thanks to a 70th-minute goal from Kimoni Bailey. With the win, Mount Pleasant has 12 points from six games played.

Humble Lion and Dunbeholden picked up their first wins of the season, beating Molynes United and Harbor View respectively 1–0.

Andre Clennon scored in stoppage time for Humble Lion, who moved into seventh with eight points.

Leo Campbell’s 15th-minute goal went in Dunbeholden’s favor as Harbor View lost for the third time in a row. Despite the win, Dunbeholden remain bottom of the table with three points.
